On September 9, 2024, Timothy Leon Washington, 39 years old, of Newnan, pleaded guilty to several charges, including Attempted Murder, and was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Travis Sakrison to 45 years in prison.
John Earl Mack sentenced to Life Without Parole Plus 30 years for Aggravated Child Molestation, Rape, & Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes
On August 8, 2024, a Carroll County jury returned verdicts of guilty against John Earl Mack, 43, for two counts of Aggravated Child Molestation, Rape, and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes. Superior Court Judge Dustin Hightower presided over the trial and sentenced the Defendant to life without the possibility of parole plus 30 years
